Zone Conference, April 28th, 2025

It was a very fast and tiring week!

To give a recap...

- we had zone conference, it was epic! I realized it was the last time I would ser some of my friends.

- we were preparing Stefany and Angela for their baptism but they got sick and weren't able to be baptized.

- we are preparing Patricio for his baptism this weekend, he is rather excited and we always have awesome lessons with him.

- we are helping Pastora prepare fir her baptism in a couple weeks, she went to church and loved it. She thought before that she wouldn't be accepted but she felt loves.

- we met an awesome lady and her children. Francia, Esperanza and Fransisco. They have so many wonderful questions. We ended up talking a lot about the plan of Salvation and what it is. They all want to get baptized but can't because the father won't let them.

- we did a ton of service this week which was awesome. We moved a bunch of big rocks around. Tore up a bunch of brush. Cleared out old sheds. Etc. It's been fun.

That's it for the recap!

Spiritual thought: I have been enjoying Psalms in the Bible recently, and one that really stood out to me this week was Psalm 37:23-24

"23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.

24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand."

This month was a rather difficult month for us. As a district we started the month with 12 baptismal dates, and only 1 of them got baptized. The moral is low in my district, but I've been helping them pick it up. When we walk the path of the Lord and trust in His timing, we will delight in our way! We may fall, but the Lord will pick us up! He will hold us in His hand. It's the same for when we sin or turn away from God. The Lord will uphold a good man. Let us repent and have faith in the Lamb of God.

Challenge of the week: share a story of one of your ancestors with a friend or family member.

Love you all! Elder Spencer
