It's a little late so I'll give a quick update.
- it was a great week for finding, we implemented some new finding tactics and first contact tactics. We are on the grind! We ended up putting four of our friends on date to be baptized in april! And we have 6-10 more with potential.
- our 10 year old friend Anthony was going to get baptized on Sunday but there were some issues in his family and he wasn't able to get baptized. He still wants to be it's difficult for them right now. Please keep Anthony in your prayers🙏
- We went to a couple of the rural towns this week, that was pretty fun. Traveling in a small bus packed with sweaty people. We went to visit a member, and we had the area where he lived marked on a map, but the address was way in timbuckto, but we noticed once we arrived at the marked area. We looked at the point and realized the address was in another place some 45 minutes away. So, defeated, and a 2 hour walk away from home, and a 1 hour wait for the bus, we decided to knock some doors. But right as we were about to start, the members pulled up in a car! Turns out the point was correct and the address was wrong! So we met with them, his dad isn't a member of the church so we started teaching him and he wants to get baptized as well!
- lots of miracles this week but a lot of opposition as well. My comp got sick, lots of people rejected us, we got lost out in timbuckto, some of our friends don't want to see us again and etc.
- today we went to the temple as a zone, it was amazing!!
Spiritual thought: D&C 19:23
"23 Learn of me, and listen to my words; walk in the meekness of my Spirit, and you shall have peace in me."
This is one of my favourite scriptures. lt is a wonderful invitation that we have to follow the Lord, learn of Him, keep His commandments, hear His words, walk in His Spirit. All so that we may have peace in Him.
