O-15: La Ultima Chamba, May 26th, 2025

Buenas tardes!

The past couple weeks have been pretty good! Lots of work and friends progressing! My boy Edison got baptized yesterday! He was so pumped! His 10 yearold cousin that I've never met pulled up to the baptism aand said he wants to be baptized too. We are going to talk to him and his parents tomorrow.

My boy Anthony brought his mom and sister to church that just moved into the neighborhood. They loves it alone! Now his sister, Valeria, wants to get baptized!

We are continuing to take random busses and stopping to get off at random little towns we run into to knock doors. And we continue to have a lot of success doing so. The strat is:

1. Get on a bus

2. As you are driving make sure you are still in your area

3. Look out the window

4. See a place you haven't walked through, hit the bell

5. Get off the bus

6. Start knocking doors

7. Find a bus stop to go back to the main town when you're done

We had some great district councils and zone councils that I had to give presentations and trainings at. Our district is doing so great! We work well together, we are diligent and obedient. 3 months ago I wasn't sure how it was going to go in a district with 6 sister missionaries, but it's been great. Sister missionaries are a lot more focused and spiritual then Elders are. Our district councils have had a lot more participation, a lot more spiritual comments, and a generally better feeling then I've had with other districts.

We get transfer news tomorrow. I really hope I stay here for my last transfer. It is an amazing area. But I'll accept the Lords will cheerfuly if not!

Alma 5:33-34

"33 Behold, he sendeth an invitation unto all men, for the arms of mercy are extended towards them, and he saith: Repent, and I will receive you.

34 Yea, he saith: Come unto me and ye shall partake of the fruit of the tree of life; yea, ye shall eat and drink of the bread and the waters of life freely;"

What impedes us from accepting the arms of mercy that are extended unto us? What impeds us from coming unto Him and partaking of the fruit and eating the bread and drinking the water of life?

- went on a hike to a place called El Pato or The Duck this morning with some of the sisters and a ward member named Memo. We didn't see any ducks, just goats.
