Feliz año nuevo a todo!!
It has been a good couple of weeks, lots of lessons, lots of heat, lots of dogs barking at as, lots of old drunk dudes yelling at us, a couple horses neighing at us, lots of old ladies saying how cute the gringos are at us, and lots more!
On New years eve we had an amazing BBQ.
Last Monday I was in a trio for a day well my comp went to Argentia for something with his visa. It was my first time being in a trio on the mission and it was actually kinda fun! I got to visit some recent converts from a previous ward that had moved to the one I was visiting for the day! So that was epic!
I've been trying to find more ways to connect with my comp, we have pretty different personalities and likes. I found out he likes chess a lot so we've had some pretty epic battles in our downtime at night after work. It's pretty fun and maybe it isn't helping us connect as well as we are both competitive haha.. nah just kidding, it helps us practice patience and Christ like love.
I got to give a talk in Sunday a couple weeks ago, I was told the day before and managed to whip up a pretty solid talk on the Atonement of Jesus Christ. I loved taking time to reflect on it. It really is the greatest event in all the history of the earth. For without it we would be lost. We wouldn't be able to return and live with our loving Heavenly Father. I'm very grateful for it.
Question of the week: What is one thing you're going to change for 2025?
Love you all!!
